In 15 days the 112th IOC session will convene. On the agenda is the location of the 2008 games as well as the election of an IOC president to replace the retiring Juan Antonio Samaranch.
One of the 5 candidates, Pál Schmitt of Hungary is a Fencer.
(Team épée gold medallist at the Games of the XIX and XX Olympiads in Mexico (1968) and Munich (1972).
