fading i hate how the national colors on my knickers fade and i am wondering is there any way i would be able to restore the colors myself? -
Probably the easiest thing to do would be to buy a fabric dye pen and go over the colors yourself. -

The colors on my pants faded after one week, and Marx Enterprises offered to touch them up. Never had it done, since my faded uniform meets the requirement, and that's the reason I got the logo. We're no threat, people, we're not dirty, we're not mean

Array I tried going over mine with a fabric pen when it nearly faded to invisible, because I was worried it wouldn't be legal, and the fabric pen almost immediately faded as well. The fabric doesn't hold on to color very well.
Phil Daly recently purchased an embroidery machine that can embroider it on, and he was selling embroidery patches before that which I believe are accepted if you sew them on rather than iron them on, but I understand there's a copyright dispute ongoing between Marx and others who apply the US design--Marx owns the design copyright. -

Fading Something has gone right today.
I took a pair of newly stencilled knickers (by Marx) and soaked them in a solution of 2 gallons cool water, 1/2 cup salt, and 10 heaping tablespoons of soda ash- a solution used to fix tie-dye colors. I used a 5 gallon bucket and lowered just the stencilled areas into the well-mixed solution and let things sit for about 45 minutes or an hour. I then risnsed the knickers in cold water in the sink and let the water drip away. After that, I covered the stencils with a thin cotton cloth and took a steam iron to them. Lastly, I threw the knickers, inside-out, into the dryer set on low until they were almost dry, then I hung them up for a couple of days.
This morning I washed them with a bit of Tide in cold water on the gentle cycle, again inside-out, and they came out with the stencils still looking brand new.
