shoe design: What would YOU like?

Hey folks;

if you had the run of nike or adidas' special fencing products division
such that you could design and market your own fencing shoe..

WHat would it look like and what features would it have?

I'm asking because I am trying to design a fencing shoe that can be
used on all surfaces, is extremely light enough yet rigid enough in the
correct areas to provide support and yet is cost effective. Asking the
world am i? :-)
