I'm not affiliated with the Games nor am I an organizer, but I'm planning to go and after I got all the information I figured I might as well share it. Ed Kane told me you can register when you get there. Not sure what the registration fees are.
It's usually an enjoyable little event, though last year it took a lot longer than I expected. "Arm yourself, Watson, there is an evil hand afoot ahead." -- Dennis Pierce, 2010 Bulwer-Lytton contest, detective fiction category runner-up. -
how come i was not informed the keystone games were held last year? i thought they were cancelled.
from what i hear, the registration fees are $20 for the first event and 10 for each additional. there is also a $10 late fee if you did not preregister. `When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to resemble a nail.'

Um . . . maybe you were not informed because they were not held last year? I don't remember if I went last summer or the summer before. Either that or it's a vast government conspiracy.
Thanks for the information about registration. Of course, trying to preregister was fraught with complications so I decided to bag it. "Arm yourself, Watson, there is an evil hand afoot ahead." -- Dennis Pierce, 2010 Bulwer-Lytton contest, detective fiction category runner-up. -
oh, you must be refering to the last summer they were held. i do not remember much or that except that the i had the first bout in the pool, started off where my weapon kept failing to register so i was stuck with about 2 red cards until someone said the reel was broken during warmup. i then got the cards annuled and fenced, but my weapon went dead on the first point, my back up did not pass the shims, so i was still stuck with a yellow card. by that time i wsa so frustrated that i ended up doing poorly the rest of the tournament. the same situation better not happen again this year. `When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to resemble a nail.'
