Array Footwork, especially turn the corner (double-advance, double retreat, double-advance-lunge, jump back, double retreat....) footwork. Working in a mirror is ideal.
Fencing dummy--nine cuts (low flank, flank, outside shoulder, outside cheek, head, inside cheek, chest, belly), w/extension, w/double-tapping, w/advance, w/advance-lunge.
Feint flank, cut head, as above. The same with the other combinations of feint-cuts.
Double feint-cut, as above.
Parry 3, riposte to flank, to head, to chest, standing, w/retreat-advance. The same with parry 4, 5, 2 and 1.
Parries w/feint-cut riposte.
Don't forget to work on your point attacks/point ripostes.
'Nuff?
MR Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point. -
