Every fencer on the planet is allowed to be the boss of the FIE, they just need to be the best fencer on the planet. What do you think nationals are for? To rank people for awards? To put together national teams for the Olympics? That's what the FIE wants you to think - in reality, they're looking for fencers who would stand a chance at beating any of the FIE executive in singles combat...

To prove my point, I will change our sport to birth-sex, and Roche shall be our parent/guardian,
If one's parent or guardian demanded that their children undergo a sex change, in order to 'improve general and public viewability', they would be deemed psychotic, and unfit parents and their child would be taken from them. Likewise, Roche should be deemed an unfit guardian of our sport, and his control should be taken. I say we revolt!! Take up arms!!!
