Array Use of Fencing.Net OK. Here's another poll for you. Trying to decide where to put resources in the next several months, so be honest. -

Array hehe Craig,
On that first quetion, you could have had answers like hourly, or minutely ... without remorse for the past, confident in the present, and full of hope for the future, [d'artagnan] went to bed and slept the sleep of the brave.

Array Craig,
I'm not sure you don't set yourself up a little by asking for our opinions on content--since you aren't responsible for static that shows up.
I still would like to see the fencing discussion divided into categories like:
1) serious fencing discussion
2) Frivolity, oxygen theft, bandwidth waste, etc.
I know that the off-topic area is supposed to have those sorts of issues, but there is still a wheat and chaff issue (I suppose that is the nature of the Net).
You do a great job with this board, in any case, IMNSHO.
Cheers, MR Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point. -

Array I'm with you, D'Art...
I'm an hourly & minutely viewer. Fantasy Land is ADDICTIVE!
PS...I understand the importance of feedback. I have a writing group & receive very little. It gets frustrating, because you can't really read people's minds to know what they want/don't want, like/don't like. When people leave & say they didn't get what they wanted, yet expected you to KNOW what they wanted, it's annoying as heck. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array If you happen to vote anything a C or worse, then please email or private message me with your comments on what you feel is lacking from the site and what your suggestions for change are.
Really, any comments on what you would like to see or what would make the site a better resource are most welcome.
Mainly, I don't want to go off building sections of the site and then not see them used, so I'll take user comments first since as the site owner, I've got a biased view. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
Thank you for your feedback.

Quit (no longer with us)
Array so far, i'm right in your percentages in your polls. either we're all crazy or we're all sane. one or the other. but my only negative about the board is this, andit's nothing you can control as webmaster. is the how people react toward one antoher's suggesions, opionions and so forth. you don't have to respond to an opinion, in a negative way, you can debate a point of view without doing a total personality deconstruction. it's entirely possible to have a normal conversation on the board about fencing and other related things without going berserk. on the other hand,i reconize that it's sor of a reflection of the way people treat one another in general. i would say we all need a brush up in manners.
-----faithfully, yours,
but i don't post as much, and i'm parring down. and i'm aware theat this is full of errors, but i'm tired and my keyboard is screwed up, so live with it without going berserk. it's also a reflection of our fencing. but here's something i learned yesterday about training and overtraining, the more training you do, the more iritated you can become. and especially in fencing, where we all poke each other. i say this from the sidelines. i'm now running faithfully, my fencing is sidelined since march, but i will pick it up again in november, is there a running site i should know about.
