| Hello from London and Singapore
Hello chaps!
A brief introduction - I'm a postgrad student (BA Classics, now doing an MA in Byzantine Studies)... usually in London most of the year, but spend summers and Christmas back home in Singapore.
I started with Classical Fencing and Rapier remains my favourite weapon, but as of a year ago I've begun doing foil and sabre (which I enjoy more than foil).
Anyone else here in London or Singapore?  |

Rapier, eh? Interesting. I've done mostly foil, a little saber (single-stick actually), and no rapier [yet] ...what style/period of rapier fencing are you doing? | |

Lefty - if I were brutally honestly, I'd admit that I'm ambisinistrous. However, I'm slightly better with my right hand than left. I suppose I should really try out left-handed fencing sometime!
Veritas i In London, I'm taking rapier lessons privately (generic rapier for now, haven't specialised yet), but trying out the sport thingy at the University of London Union Fencing Club. I'm considering joining more when I get back there at the end of autumn - any suggestions? While I'm in Singapore, I'm at the only fencing school with a maestro that's worth his salt (the other place has instructors who all have day jobs, 'nuff said).
Just how many members do we have on this forum?

I am not in Great Britain I am from Greece (and discentant of the Byzantines).
