Array Where has it gone? Where has freedom of speech and free discussion gone on this website? Was the "club politics" thread to much? It appeared to me that it was a subject that some of us needed to talk about.
Craig, why dont you explain your reason for locking it down.If you dont mind.
Cheers, Arcon

Array Arcon,
I suspect because it seemed to have turned into a discussion about sweating in ones uniform. Whatever doesn't kill you, is gonna leave a scar...

Array The topic moved to sweating because I complained of being severly overheated thanks in part to the thickness of my uniform, the lack of AC, the humidity of South East Texas and our lovely tin roof. ... without remorse for the past, confident in the present, and full of hope for the future, [d'artagnan] went to bed and slept the sleep of the brave.

Array forget it arcon, it's not worth the effort, a person cannot resolve issues here on the board, it turns into either a silly thing, or becomes too weird, it does everyone a disservice, i think we should just log off forever and use regular human dialog like on a telephone, or in person to resolve issues, and if they're really complicated, then inviate a mediator and bring a box of tissues. and no i'm not being either funny or smart. by for now. -
That Guy
Array Since this was directed to me, I'll answer and then lock this down.
1 - More appropriate to email me this question. You can always email me at webmaster@fencing.net and you know that I respond.
2 - I locked it down b/c it was going off topic. Didn't bother to put a note that I was doing this, but it was a long thread and was getting away from useful discussion.
3 - I will often respond to a thread and then close it later. You can always start a new thread with a new discussion topic or with the same topic - just try to keep it relevant.
If you have any other questions, feel free to email me on them.
Thanks,
Craig
