    Estoc Sizing

On the estoc FIE jacket, on the sword masters website, it says that the size I qualify for is the 52. Now, the 52 is for guys who are like, 6"0-6"2, it also says that the jacket, as far as chest measurements, is for guys with 46"-48" inch chests..... I'm a 39" as far as chest measurements go. Is this thing going to hang on me like a sack? Suggestions? The sizing chart is here.

Every week you seem to be asking about a new FIE uniform. Just make up your mind already... and wait for Telk to show up and talk about Estoc sizing.

Are there any distributors or shops near you that you can just stop in at and try one or two on? I had problems finding stuff to fit me properly - disregarding the, erm... "extra insulation" I carry around, I've got a long torso and short arms and legs... it was tough finding something, but the local shop here let me try on a few different sizes to see what worked best. Granted, I didn't have a huge choice of manufacturers (one, to be exact), but they were really helpful...

It really sounds like you don't fit the standard size. If you're dropping that much money on equipment, get a custom tall size that fits you.

Contact them with your arm/leg/height/waist/chest/everything measurements, and ask them what jacket would best fit you. Sound serious, so there's more chance of them actually finding out for you.

That being the case, is there any particular reason you're looking at the Estoc? Why bother with their kit if they won't help you buy it?

If you dont mind me asking...what measurement qualifies you to be that size?

Is it your height? If so I would consider trying the right chest size but in a "long". Most suppliers should have that option if you ask. Its not quite a custom jacket...but the sleeves and torso is longer to take the height into consideration.

Or do as someone suggested and have a custom jacket made.

    We provide both....
