I fenced with Bruce Dickenson, lead singer of Iron Maiden in the early 90's when he came to Canada for a concert.

He is left handed, classical style, very good fencer. So I flicked him. Rock on.

    Bruce

Bruce is a trip on the strip... He will be over for Ozzfest this month and is bringing his gear... We've got pics of him fencing the wife back in the day...

But they've known each other for ages...

I have heard that Neil Diamond actually went to college on a fencing scholarship.

Also, Jerry O'Connell ("Stand By Me") is a fencer. Sabre, I think.

Correct on both counts...Diamond was an epeeist who indeed was on scholarship...O'Connell reached 7th at the JOs one year in sabre (don't remember which one)

I'm hoping Bruce'll come into my club when he plays Ozzfest here in a few weeks. I'd go to the show but too damn expensive.

    Bruce Dickenson's Club

What club does he fence at in NYC?
    Anybody else who's fenced him?
And, since I'm asking so many questions anyway, does anybody else think it's really cool that rock stars fence. Take that all you people who say fencing is nerdy.

I wouldn't mind going a few touches with Kim Cattrall.

I wouldn't mind fencing her either.

Then he should have been more specific. "He" does not a proper name make. My honor is still safe.
