Summer Fencing

Hi, I'm a (casual) fencer, not from around here. As luck as it, I'm in Athens, GA for the summer, and I was wondering if anyone might want to get together somewhere, somehow for some fencing. Preferably just for fun, no need to have a salle with eletric equipment. I can fence anything, although I would need electric equipment provided for anything but eletric epee, and a saber provided for dry (Some guy decided it would be a good idea to bolestra into a lunge, and I'm poor.)

Anyway, if anyone knows how I might get some fencing in (preferably for cheap or free), do tell me. Thanks!
sean

Check out the USFA site for local clubs/groups. Maybe one of them would be happy to let you fence there for free. Most places I've visited were more than happy to have visitors. Good luck.

I have. The only local club is UGA fencing, and while they'd be happy to let me come play, they ent here. They're all home for the summer. Its really just too ironic. Hence I came here, hoping for someone else...

Thanks alot for the suggestion, though. I was afraid the post would just be ignored since I said "for fun" and "not serious"

Sorry, didn't read your post completely, thought you were in Atlanta. Good luck on your search.
