| Women's Section Craig,
I sent a number of PM's to some women on F-Net to see if anyone is interested in a section for Women (you have sections for Sport Fencing, Armoury, Fantasy etc...). The response ranged from nonresponsive to enthusiastic.
The idea is simply to provide a place where women can gather and post questions specific to being a women fencer. We have been dealing with these issues in PM, but it is awkward as not all of us have gone green.
Men of course are welcome in the same way that those of us who do not fix our own weapons can go into the Armoury section... I just doubt they would find our discussion that relevant.

| Count me in too. I find that I'm getting more and more women’s liby as I get older. That ought to bore the men to tears.

| My fear is that we'll all synch up in our "cycles". Which means that we'll all suffer PMS at the same time, and the men on the board will hide from us forever. That wouldn't be any fun, now, would it.
Then again, we'll all ovulate at the same time, too - and then they'll looooove having us around.
I do think it would be nice to have a place where we can discuss things that are experienced primarily by women (besides cramps). We have specific issues in fencing and life that aren't shared by our male counterparts. One example of this is the reluctance some girls/women have to fence men. I couldn't make this up... I've talked to a few females recently who really do have this issue! Being more on the assertive side myself, I didn't know how to respond to that, but others might have better insight.

It would be funny if our cycles all synced up.... unlikely but funny.
