Go at ZZ with a whippy little foil blade, and she'll run you through with her massive epee. They hurt a LOT more than foils. I'm afraid you'd be shish-kebab after all, and that would be a terrible loss to our community of cool chicks. You need to stay strong, so that when I finally do meet you on the strip, you can show me mercy - like you promised in the HUGE thread. (Somebody has to!)

Hey! You, Zmurf! Yeah, I'm talking to you! You leave my Fencergrl alone, or I'll... I'll... I'll challenge you to a duel! | Okay Snookums.... being a squirrel... you go for the low spots with your foil, hit her with a few flying squirrel kicks and throw stale nuts at her.... and I'll go after the upper body with my epee... a smother her with my oversized breasts and large floppy hat.... then choke her with my feather boa... that little blue smurf won't know what hit her.... we'll be a whirl of fur, blades, blond hair and sequins.....
Meow.... the cat fight is on!

| (Sidles up to FG and assumes taunting stance...) My sweat pools in my chest protector cups. You could wade in it. Do the math. My cups must be bigger than yours.
But seriously, maybe you should all go and start a fake-lesbian/rodent-love-interest thread somewhere? How did this stray from being a thread devoted to women's issues in fencing?

| Okay... enough jacking my own thread... any other fencers who would like to share about any alterations they have done to their gear for our womanly figures?
What about different fencing techniques that work well? As an epeeist, I enjoy going after the wrists of big strapping men as I'm just a sweet little creature

| Well, I'm really short-waisted but fairly well-endowed. Genetic curse indeed. To get a lame that goes over the chest comfortably, it's way too long for me and pretty much comes to my upper-thigh. Pretty frustrating. I had people in the Armoury forum suggest Allstar lames because they're cut for more female shapes, and I saw some at the Pomme de Terre. Automatically asked for my size (the size I have from BG, anyway) and found to my horror that it was never going to come anywhere near zipping. What the...? Tried other sizes, progressively going upwards, till I ran out of time and had to get to the strips.
It wasn't till much later that it occurred to me that the Allstar sizes must be the Europan sizes. Duh. My BG lame is in inches. I can't just randomly order one online. What's the conversion factor to get from the US size to the Euro size? Or do I just measure myself with a tape measure that does metric?

| Europeans use metric, but their sizing is something funky that I don't understand....
Here's a link to a company that has a sizing chart.... don't get excited over any prices... it's a Canadian website. Fleche
