    I love Rep!

You know after being gone for a short while, and coming back, it's amusing to check my rep points.

The most amusing ones, and I love seeing them, are the ones where someone gives you rep, and then insults you anonymously, because somehow, using an online screenname isn't anonymous enough for some of them...

It's awesome. The give you positive rep, and then since the filters are seemingly off, can write anything.

Sometimes they write really funny things, and it's obvious that it kills them that they are forced to give positive rep, and others, it's just a unimaginative 'You Suck'.

So, here's my plea for the next time I check rep in a couple of months or so:

    Be Imaginative People!

I don't know who most of you are (except Inq and RL), so cut loose. I mean, no ones gonna know what you said, and no one (least of all me) really cares, so at least make it worthwhile to read!

We're no threat, people, we're not dirty, we're not mean
We love everybody but we do as we please
    When the weather's fine,
We go fishin' or go swimmin' in the sea
    We're always happy
Life's for livin', yeah, that's our philosophy

You should read some of the reps I get. I don't give a kitty about the actual points!!! Of course, you'd have to learn Swedish first. mmmmmmm.....my blåbär muffin, I'm thinking about you

So that's how you people are getting so much rep. I'm getting screwed because I'm not making enough enemies.

I don't give a kitty? Thats...that's great. It's one of the best things I've seen here.
The solution to your problem is to fence another weapon.

I enjoy reading them as well. I get quite a few for the stuff that I say so it's always gratifying to read the positive feedback. The most bizarre one I've got is simply 'Hello' [latest one]... I've obviously no idea who it was but 'hello' back. Of course in between the interesting feedback I've got tons of "Your an Epeeist have some rep'" I guess we Epeeists are the caring sharing sort!

I've thought of suggesting to Craig that we bring back negative rep' to spice things up a bit.

Ah, rep...I keep forgetting about it! I really ought to give out more of it.

Oh God, me too. I came here after negative rep was removed, so I never got a chance to abuse it!

We should take the threat seriously. He regularly abuses himself, after all.

I would like to add... sign your comments... I usually thank the person, so I like to know who's sending their rep my way.

As for negative stuff... it's cowardly. I haven’t received any… even Wes is sweet when he gives out rep.... not that he would like that getting out!

Ironically, when I posted in the Epee thread that I thought it was sort of unnecessary, I got all kinds of rep anyway.

I prefer the ones that comment on something I posted. Sometimes the comments are very thought-provoking. There's some really smart people on this board, and it's great to get their input!
