| Dimitri the Mouse Have you ever had a mouse problem in your house? A single mouse or an infestation? I have and do. We have a mouse living somewhere in or near our kitchen. It is quite funny to see him scurry across the lino and into the broom closet. Once I was laying on the couch and I saw him carefully sneak out from under the 'fridge, then all of a sudden I SHOUTED. The mouse freaked big time and ran back underneath the fridge. I kept my eyes on the floor... then after around 3 minutes, the mouse crawled out again. Not only did I SHOUT... I also banged the floor with my foot! Boy, the poor little mouse was so scared that it jumped right up into the air around 10 centimetres, it's little limbs were splayed right out.
Last night, I finally decided to name the mouse. I informed my mother of this decision, and her face lighted up with excitement and she said - "Let's name it Mickey!". At this, I scoffed and I made sure that her idea was sufficiently ground into dust before I christened the house mouse... DIMITRI. I wonder what Dimitri will do next to amuse me.

| I deleted it. And I put a reason for deletion, but none of you can read it, so it was pointless. And now it's too late to undelete it, b/c we posted. |

| When you posted in the U.K. thread. It's ablack hole that will bring the underpants gnomes upoun you, stealing all your cotton undergarments and using them to build a fort that can defend against a nuclear apocalypse. |

| I have a mouse in the computer room. It occaisionally scurries during late-night fencing.net sessions. Someday it will die and the room will smell bad.
It's just kind of creepy for now, though. Something's living in the wall. |

An exception on the "human" name front: Retard. I had a friend who had a friend who named his dog Retard. Pretty cool.

| Dimitri is a cool name for a mouse.
I've got a mouse and he hasn't got a house. I don't know why I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse.

| Damn straight! Gerald's a cool name too. More people should name their kids Gerald. Or Oswald. Or maybe Percival. Some people seriously should STOP naming their kids Ryan, James or Brad. I know like... five of each!!! No offense to those named Ryan, James or Brad... it's not like you guys had a choice.
