| Leon Paul will have a stand at the Nationals with Fencing Net Leon Paul will be at the U.S. Nationals in a weeks time with a display stand of samples of all their equipment. Alex Paul and Ben Paul will be present through out the event while I will be out from 2nd to 4th.

If you need anything in particular there is still time to order on line Leonpaulusa.com if you do it in the next two days it should reach you at your home before you go. Mark in the comment box needed for the Nationals and we will give those orders priority.
Come to our stand where you can:
1. enter a Prize Draw questionnaire competition for clubs and individuals with $2,500 worth of prizes for the winners.
2. See samples of our new fencing shoe, jointly developed with one of the world's top indoor shoe manufacturers.
3. See samples and in some cases buy points, guards, blades, contour fit masks, Vision 2000 sabre masks with contour fit and removable bib.
4.Find out more about Fencing Net. (If you read this you probably know about Fencing Net.)

| Is it possible Leon Paul will have some ultralight foil lames available for sale? I'm looking to get a second one but I was hoping for a chance to buy in person at Nationals, so as to save on shipping. |

| Shipping on Leon PaulUSA is free so there will be no difference in cost. We will only have samples of the light weight lame. Barry |

| We haven't yet managed to put them on the leon PaulUSA site but below is the information from LeonPaul.com.
Golubitsky-ProŽ Ultra Grip Insulated Foil handle (Reference 82GP)
This handle is based on the actual handles that Sergei Golubitsky has used for the past 10 years; using them he has won an amazing 3 World Championships. The design is smaller than most and Sergei feels that the compact shape gives him greater control. His original handles were adapted Belgian handles and we have faithfully copied his design. On the lower protrusion he had built up the handle extensively with tape and this helped to grip the little and ring fingers tight into the handle against the protrusion that sits between the ring finger and middle finger. We have replaced the tape with two pieces of asymetric rubber tube (one thick and one thin) these have a slightly triangular cross section that means the wall thickness of the tube varies. This tube can be rotated as necessary to create a shape comfortable for the individual and the two pieces can be used either together or seperately. The part of the handle that buts up against the guard is ground to butt perfectly up against the guard when the blade is given a normal set (cant). |

| Or to put it another way it is a wicked cool Belgian grip. Check out the picture here and click more info for a better view: LP Gpro grip If I used a Belgian I would love to try it out. Hell, I almost got one the other day before I remembered I DON'T use a Belgian!

So, if for nothing else, come by the booth to check out the shoes.
(having flashbacks to the old air jordan commercials...)

| I was very impressed by the Lexan Sabre mask. The transparent section is distinctly wider than, for example, the PBT. The price of about $330 through July makes it very attractive.
Caveat. I wear glasses. The lining inside both the fixed bib mask and changeable bib mask was very puffy and bothered the wearing position of my glasses. And with the wide Lexan area, you wouldn't be able to pull the sides apart the way you can with a mesh mask. If I had one, I would probably sew the lining flat against the mesh. As someone who has worked with Sabre masks, I would choose the fixed bib one.
