| Where can I get a Spanish grip? First let me start off by saying, YOU CAN'T TALK ME OUT OF IT, I KNOW THE RULES AND I STILL WANT ONE, MY MIND IS MADE UP!!! I'd like to get a Spanish grip foil or epee, electric if at all possible. Does anyone know where I can find them or are they extinct? |

| Hi, I did a very brief Googling just for you. I found these two links that seemed the most relevant: Spanish Grip (AmFence). Spanish Grip (Triplette).
I am sure there are more vendors that sell them. Have a look on different vendors' websites. Good luck!

| First, make sure that what the vendor calls a "spanish" grip is what you are looking for. I have seen at least three different grips go by that name over the years (traditional, modern and offset).
Also, since it doesn't look like American Fencing Supply has pictures of spanish grips on their website you will probably have to look at their catalog (you can download it from their website as a PDF). |

| Are you talking about the pistol grip? If you're talking about the old spanish grip, looks like the italian grip but the quillons aren't in line, then I don't think anyone manufactures that anymore.
For the pistol grip spanish, it's more or less a belgian without the rear lower part (where the last two fingers hold on to). Maybe you can try sawing off a belgian other than that American Fencer's is probably the only place you can get it. I don't trust Tripplette, heard too many bad stories. |

Then there's what AFS calls the Spanish Modern which uses a french pommel; I have a hard time believing that it would be legal. |

| I'm sorry, I should of specified. I'm trying to find the elusive traditional Spanish grip. I bought an old display version a while ago off eBay (item: 7151742764 for the curious) and I really like the feel of it. Thanks for the help! |

| Try contacting American Fencers Supply directly.
I seem to recall that the traditional spanish grip appearing in their catalog many years ago, so they may still have one or two lying about in a bin somewhere. |
