| Saw some great uniforms for sale in France (Limoges) two years ago. The jackets and knickers were composed of vivid red, white, and blue panels. I believe they were left over from a run of uniforms made for the French fencing team. I would have loved to get one, but they had what they had, and I could not order one that would fit me. |

Personally I really don't like them, but think they make sense for club kit.

I like how the descriptive text is up-front about the reason for the color: "As they are Royal Blue they are very distinctive and less lightly to go missing, also they encourage fencers who have completed beginner courses to buy their own equipment."
"Distinctive" of course means "HIDEOUSLY UGLY"... which is of course why they will not "go missing"  |
