Right...on a 2 pin socket you simply remove one of the insulators onteh B line so there is metal contact between the retaining nut at the socket bracket. (you have to do a little more with with the insulators on an Uhlmann type one).
Power comes in the B line and straight across the bracket to the C line and ground instead of going up the wire and down the blade like on a foil circuit.
'Course, if you put this modified socket on a foil, you'll have a circuit that won't break...
