Array Country colors on both legs? Hi, all. I apologize, but I have been searching, probably with the wrong keywords, for the announcement which said country colors now have to be on both legs for international competition. Did I dream it? If so, does it matter where they are exactly? I guess that's a foolish question. And are the patches from Proprintwear acceptable? Array I don't know, but that makes life a little more difficult with your Adidas pants...
Where would the front logo go? Take your time. Read carefully. -

Array I am afraid are favorite person has done it again. If you check the FIE informational letters 12 and 13 for this year, they will be requiring that starting at the World Championship in Lepzig. On the arms, it will be optional, but here's the catch. If you are in a team competition and one person has the logo on the arm and the others don't, that would be a card. Array So since the Veteran Worlds are anticipating the Leipzig requirements with the transparent masks, I guess we'll have to do this too. Okay, I just wanted to check before I ironed on the patch (the patches rather than the stencils ARE okay, aren't they?) Array NO! The Veteran Worlds are BEFORE the Worlds in Lepzig. This will NOT be a requirement for the Veterans. Also the NEW rules for the visor masks will not be in effect for the Veterans. The current rule of the visor mask for Sabre ONLY will be in effect.
Do NOT put on the second National colors. If you fence team, you will get a card. Also, since the current rules state on the back leg ONLY, you may be carded for illegal colors. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com

some of the countries at junior worlds got into a bit of trouble because their national colours were not identical, and some had the same design on the front leg when it was only supposed to be on the back (they checked our jackets and breeches as well as the usual). -

Array This was started at the Athens Olympics. It was reported the FIE felt the referees were not doing a consistent job, so they now have the Armorers do it.
What I think is, they were trying to stop the protests that were being made for little things that delayed the game. There were 2 protests by one country over uniform consistency. They one one protest, lost the one against the U.S., but our fencer got so rattled, we lost when before the protest we were ahead. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com
