    what were you humming, victory at sea? running is still the best, the gym is sometimes boring, you have to wait around for weights and you miss the weather.

    OTOH, you don't have to worry about aggressive dogs or skin cancer, you don't have to either carry your water or do without, there are usually restrooms close at hand and often TV.

    And running is just as boring as weightlifting.

    Bad knees aside, I hate running.

    As reviving this thread to let everyone know that I FINALLY got my copy of the program the trainers at the Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs did for us at Coaches College and have reproduced a condensed version for those who would like it.
