Array So how do clear masks stand up to an epee thrust? "Since when does being a patriot in America mean shutting your mouth?"

Array Clear mask I don't know if I would like using the clear masks. I mean you opponent can see where your eyes are going. Honesty why can't they just keep it simple?

Array Hey Ess, I am to tired/lazy tonight to look it up but do you know if this is an agreement to agree to test sort of thing or are the visored masks now absolutely required for all FIE level comps for this coming season? Thanks,

I'm curious as to the format of the video assistance to referees. Will it be by challenge? They may choose to review? Every call is reviewed except one lighters? -

Array It's a press release directly off the FIE website under the communications tab. You could assume that this would be put to a vote, but sometimes the FIE works in mysterious ways. http://www.fie.ch/Communication/Press.aspx "Since when does being a patriot in America mean shutting your mouth?"

Super-8 Film? Isn't this too technologically advanced for the FIE? -

Array I believe there was a provision that if super-8 wasn't available, they could draw little stick-figure fencers on a flip pad. Accuracy suffers but the stop motion is very good... and there was some controversy over paper cuts. They couldn't decide who would actually draw the little stick-figures in sequence but they decided to just go ahead with the plan and hope it all works out. Of course, little stick figures are also easy for the audience to understand, and relatively television friendly, and cheap. Originally Posted by davesaint Super-8 Film? They'll get Matt Groening to do the animation to make it television-friendly. -

Array Pardon my ignorance, but how does a transparent mask work in sabre? Does the mask simply have a dead spot in the middle of the face where you can't score, or have they developed some kind of transparent conductive material? -

If you hit it, you don't get a touch.
It happens. Take your time. Read carefully. Similar Threads -
