| I would very much like to be able to create my own mood again, and not being limited to the list existing right now.
Also, I really liked the music option which no longer exists.
Any chance on modification of the above?
And very honestly, I did prefer the previous overview with the two columns.....one side the journals that had been modified as latest and on the other side the existing journals listed by numbers of entry.
I think, the current overview page displays too much infos...

| I think it's been mentioned already, but... Whenever you change the "Sort By" to something else ("Journalist", for example) and click "Show Journals", then try to click on a different page, the sort order goes back to "Journal Start Date". This makes it pretty much impossible to find a specific person's journal unless you scroll through all the users until you find the one you're looking for. I'd say this is a major problem.
Other than that, the interface looks good. I think if everything worked as it should, it would be usable.

| Journal Buddies I'm not sure how the Journal Buddies work.
When I check what Journal Buddies I have, I get told I have none.
So I choose edit.
This brings me to my "Buddies" page in User Tools.
Some of my Buddies have journals. I would like them listed as Journal Buddies. How do I do this? |

(NB: The button is not 'named'.)

| Interesting: the display of "Journals for Fencing.Net Discussion Board" has a last entry date for all the journals on the main page of "01-01-1970 12:00 AM"

I don't remember where Craig replied to this, but he said that the dates will change to the present dates once the journalist updates their journal.

| Display Options Journals Craig, wouldn't it be possible that the display options of the journals is maintained once set?
Now, each time you read something and go back to the overview, the view options have to be reset.
Thanks,
Pauli

| Not at the moment. There may be a major upgrade of the overall forum system soon, so that would put additional improvements to journals on hold. |

| The journal (own one) starts again with the first entry ever made. I believe this was something you, Craig, once set that the last post would show first. I have screened this thread and it seemed that indeed this option was changed by you.....
Am I wrong? If not, can that be reset again, that the last post shows first? I wasn't able to find the location where to change it again......

| Bump!
Craig, could you please fix the journals back so that the latest entries turns up 'first'?
It's very annoying to have them on the latest page of journal entries...

| I finally had a few minutes and reapplied the sorting fix to the journals page.
Journals are now shown with newest entry first.
The journals main page has journals sorted by latest entry by default. You can select other options from the drop-down lists.
Now, people can reply in this thread as to if they want the journal pages to stay with the same look and feel or get a bit more "bloggy" in nature.

| Oh, yay! Thank you. I am happy with the appearance of the journals, but that oldest-entry-first thing was making me crazy.
