Qualification to Senior Team?

Just a question...

What is the qualification path for the Senior Team event at Summer Nationals?

I checked the USFA site: http://www.usfencing.org/Documents/R.../QualPaths.asp

and it doesn't even list the event...

anyone know? is it just each club that sends a team to the qualifier qualifies?

For my division, theres 2 team qualifiers. Theres the U-19 which qualifies you for U-19 and then theres the open. This qualifies u for Senior team and Division 1 team. I dont know if all division work like this but i hope this helps

For the NE division there's an Senior Team Qualifying event and I could be wrong, but I was told that it's the top 25% just like other qualifiers. And then any club in the top 25% gets in, but if a club has two teams fence it then only one qualifies.

From the Athletes Handbook:

TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Based on number of different USFA Member Clubs represented at each of the 2005 Division’s Division I Team, Senior Team, under-19 Team qualifying competitions.

Same qualification requirements for each of the three categories of team Championships: Junior Team, Division I Team, Senior Team [see table] OR Be a USFA member club that placed in the top 4 at the 2004 National Team Championships in that category of team championships.

NOTE 1: A division may hold either one Division I Team Championships to qualify clubs for Division I National Team Championships and Senior National Team Championships or separate Team qualifying competitions for each category.
