    Job Posting: Head Coach, NJIT

    From the NJIT website:

ASST PE SPECIALIST / HEAD COACH M/W FENCING - FITNESS CENTER COORD - Physical Education and Athletics
    Position#: 411001
Brief Description: Coach and administer all aspects of a successful Division I men's and women's fencing program, including recruiting, budgeting, coaching and teaching. Other duties may include: Fitness Center Management and/or teaching fencing classes.
Requirements: Ability to teach, coach and recruit fencers. Strong interpersonal skills. Previous coaching and/or fencing experience at the Division I or International level preferred. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Fitness center or related experience a plus.
    Union Affiliation: PSA
    Pay Range: To Be Determined
    Initial Posting: 4/28/2005

Briefly saw another, more detailed posting of the position. Full-time, 12-month position. The other posting was more complete and made it clear that there were non-fencing job responsibilities, likely varying depending on the ability/experience of the successful candidate. The Fitness Center management position referred to here was listed, as were a number of other general athletics department jobs. If I can find a copy of the more complete listing I'll add it to this thread.

All of the information that I have is in what I posted. As mentioned, I know there is a more complete announcement that was emailed to at least some people (I was not one of them so I don't have it).

Salary range is quite clearly marked as "To Be Determined".

I suggest talking to the athletics department at NJIT for more information if you might be interested in the position.
