| Reworking MM´s sig line... Hi!
Maeve Mari presently has the sig line:
---- Infatuation is when you think he's as sexy as Robert Redford, as smart as Henry Kissinger, as noble as Ralph Nader, as funny as Woody Allen, and as athletic as Jimmy Conners. Love is when you realize that he's as sexy as Woody Allen, as smart as Jimmy Connors, as funny as Ralph Nader, as athletic as Henry Kissinger and nothing like Robert Redford - but you'll take him anyway. ~Judith Viorst
---
I started trying to rework it for men, but only came as far as:
Infatuation: smart as Condi Rice, sexy as (some movie star)
Love: sexy as Condi Rice, smart as (some movie star)
Can anyone give good examples of known women who fit the other listings? I Think I could work it out for Swedish celebrities, but then it would not be as fun here.
Have a nice time!

| I would change funny, athletic, and noble for some other characteristics. Maybe graceful, elegant, charming? We need to get Martha Stewart and Oprah somewhere on the list though.
This brought to mind a line from an army cadence.
"They say that in the Army, the women are mighty fine. They look like Phyllis
Diller and walk like Frankenstein!" |

| Hi!
From:
Rich like Martha/Paris Hilton/Oprah
To: Smart like Paris
Looks like Oprah/Martha
The trick is to find some celeb that excels in some characteristic, and really fails in the others.
Have a nice time!

| It won't exactly fit the sig line, but here's a horrifying thought - Billy Joel had kids with Christy Brinkley. Ever seen those kids? Of all possible combinations, to have his looks and her talent... *shudder*

| I think it was originally for a guy, and someone switched it to work for women. I've heard it both ways. |

| I tried my hand at coming up with a list of women to fill the roles. It's much harder than I expected. I have a lot of good candidates for the Infatuation List, but turning it around doesn't produce any shocking results.
I had an idea too. To use an actresses characters from movies to try to compile the list. Here's a first attempt, but it needs some work and suggestion. Julia Roberts Characters:
Sexy: Vivian Ward (Pretty Woman)
Smart: Darby Shaw (Pelican Brief)
Nobel: Erin Brockovich (Erin Brockovich)
Funny: Grace King Bicha (Something to Talk About)
Athletic: Tinkerbell (Hook) |
