| Time to brag musically! http://www.socaldream.org/media/2005...May_Camp_1.wmv
We were about finished with weekend camp and were asked to come play at a retirement party for a school teacher. First is a warmup exercise, then our on field warmup, the part of our 2005 show, "Kill Bill" We played otehr parts of the show, but the echo in the gyn with the drums going was a bit much for a good vid release.
There weren't sufficient numbers in my section to release me to be drum major thie year, so I'm marching in the show...and my legs are still feeling it from the weekend!
I'm on the left side of the screen, faded white shirt, tan pants, to the viewer's left of the black guy with the white shorts...behind the soloist in "Lonley Shepard" |

We're a drum & bugle corps....no woodwinds or reeds (which, now that I re-read your prior post, you must be!).
It's all marching brass...and drum corps bugles are ALL in the key of G (instead of multiple keys you'd see in a school marching band)
But...in honor of the missing woodwinds....
How do you get 2 piccolos on the same note in tune?
You shoot one of them! |
