| Discussion Boards I have noticed that there are 100's of discission boards for fencing and I was wondering.... What other boards do you belong to? |
| | | And now for this message... | |

| Every single one, cause I'm a ninja.
Really, though, I only belong to this board.

| This one and fencingforum.com.
Haven't seen any others that get anywhere near the traffic to be worth visiting regularly. Below a certain threshold and message lists (yahoo! groups, etc.) seem more effective/efficient. If there were a marginal forum that covered areas I particularly cared about (say, Philadelphia-area fencing) I might join and regularly visit.

| It's interesting that all of these forums are popping up. After the Fencing.Net boards were in full swing for a while, the Leon Paul sponsored FencingForum.com started up.
These two (US based Fencing.Net and UK based FencingForum.com) were the main boards until escrime-info.com got started up. But, I don't speak or read french, so I don't go there.
Overall, the other boards are either very into local/divisional politics or recap a lot of what has been talked about at Fencing.Net or FencingForum.com, so I'm not sure what the real utility is. Seems like an announcement list for upcoming tournaments would be better for the local community or more participation at Fencing.Net for exposure to the broader fencing community.

I think mine got described too well. Apologies.
On the other hand, since mine went down for upgrades, I've gotten a lot of emails. |

| This is the only fencing forum board I belong to. I post pretty irregularly here, so it's hard enough keeping up with just one forum. |

Actually, I live in the UK and for a long time hadn't heard of the UK forum; this is the only forum in the whole wide world that I'm subscribed to... and I like it |

| I have an account on fencingforum and escrime info, but I don't post on either. I only go when I have alot of spare time. Especially escrime-info, seeing as that reading a post requires a reasonable amount of time and a dictionary. |
