Array So, what do I do now? Hey, guys!
I was thinking of coming back in--assuming I can catch up to where you all are--but have discovered that there seems to be a definite dearth of postings for the last few months and the most current "Dragons and War" thread is locked...I think.
Anyway, is this the end? Am I too late?
Do I steal away quietly and go about my business, or do I limber up my fingers and start writing?
Who's still active, anyway? I see Rosaline has posted something recently (read: within the past two months) and Darian; also some activity from Zelda, Moon, and Swordsman. Anyone else? Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array Uh...things are a little...ahh...complicated right now. Love to have you back, though. Hey! Come see me this summer at Silver Leaf in Comstock (Kalamazoo)...we'll get all Arconian together. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Branching out in your theatrical career, are you? Most definitely. I love stage combat. Hope to see you out there in July. If you go on July 9 or 10th, you'd see me perform as Morganna (Morgan le Fay) in The Legend of King Arthur show. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array Yaaay! More writers . . kind of. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -
A little bit off topic, but I've been kind of wondering about this.
How would you guys feel about someone (me, for example) writing stuff unrelated to Arconia, etc., and then posting it every once in a while? I ask this because I like writing, and some feedback would be cool, but I don't have the time or skills to get into something as intense as Fantasy Land. -

Array I don't know how the others feel, but I'm cool with it. -

Array I was kind of wondering that myself... Pound for pound, the amoeba is the most vicious animal on earth. -

Array Even though Fantasy Land was originally intended for expanding Arconia's story, it's really become a fiction writing haven for those on fencing.net who like to write. So, welcome! And as Zelda said, don't know how much I, personally, would be able to be involved. Starting Tuesday, I'll be rehersing for a King Arthur stunt show with the stage combat group I belong to. July 9th (opening!) is coming fast. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

It'll probably be at least until school ends before I do anything, though. -

Array I for one think it would be just fine if anyone wants to write here.
As Moonitic says, it started out as a vehicle for fantasy but I think there's plenty of room for anyone.
Come! Write! Enjoy! Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array Just make sure to start a new thread or something of that sort. Dun wanna be reading along in an already used thread and have it go from a tournament for a king to a circus or a court room or something.
