| Deadwood Have just finished watching the series on DVD.
I love this show...............Too bad not many of the quotes are suitable for a family site.
Anyone else like it?

| It's currently the best thing on TV. I was worried when Wild Bill was killed off, but it actually got *better* as time wore on. My favorite aspect of it is its Shakespearean quality: you have the constant juxtaposition of the fools and the tragic figures, the anti-heroes, the amazing monologues that Swearengen dishes out every week... What more can you ask for? This season, it has officially passed all of the other great shows on HBO in my book in its greatness, and leaves most full-length films wanting. Nothing else comes close to it.
Oh, and Ian McShane is God. Amen.

He's the friggen man that dude. That guy, IO'd give smart money odds on waxing me in a fight, where we both weren't b hampered with any sort of carry laws (and I'm abouyt as technically sound with my weapons as a maggot that hasn't completed basic t6raing).
The shocker is I'd give him smart money odds against 70 to 80% of todays olympic level Kedoists, Fencers, etc.
Have ya seen the one where he opens "Crop ears" gullet, then spits in his face while he's gurgling to death? |

| One word for you: oink.
You really need to get HBO, latenight. The DVD lag time is a killer. This season has exploded into something way beyond television. And Mr. W is the creepiest thing to hit the screen in many years. Something... very expensive...

| If you have digital cable and OnDemand (Comcast) or similar - yes. You can catch up on all of it, whenever you want. See what you're missing? Of course, that's less time on f.net...

| Mr. Wu and Swearengen are the two best characters on any show since Toby and Josh on Season One of The West Wing, and the episode where they argue about the opium is one of the funniest things I've seen on television. Five stars for Deadwood. |
