| V sad Not sure how to start this so I'll get straight to the point.
Mr Louweasel went round to see a friend of ours, N, on Sunday evening and found him dead. He was 25.
Mr Louweasel is being incredibly strong and brave and a great support to N's parents but he is very upset of course so if you could remember both N and Mr Louweasel in prayers, thoughts and good vibes I'd be grateful.
N had struggled with alcoholism and depression for years but we all thought he was turning a corner. He was working on a new hovercraft - he even won a trophy last weekend and we were all so proud of him, he was grinning from ear to ear. He seemed fine on the phone on Friday night and sent me a hug.
We don't really know what happened as the post mortem was inconclusive and we must await the toxicology reports, but of course we have our ideas.
Such a waste.
He was a fencer once too.

| Awww, Lou, I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been a terrible shock. There really are few good times to die but 25 is way too young. I hope that as you struggle to get past this, you'll know that there are people out there who are thinking of you in your time of need.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I recently lost a close friend after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. When her time was near, our small circle of friends really rallied together to help her and each other through the pain and loss, and we continue to be closer than we'd been before. I don't think we - or her family - could have gotten through it without each other's love and support. Sometimes something good comes from tragedy.
No, it's not fair N was taken from you. And chances are, there was no reason for it. It's unfair and horrible and painful, and those he left behind are probably wondering what they might have done to help. There was nothing. But with any luck, this will force you to stop and consider every day and every action you take a little differently. I can't tell you how many times I've had to remind myself that I have all these blessings around me, that I'm still alive. Please offer Mr. Lou all the support he needs, and know that our thoughts are with you.

| I'm sure that all our hearts go out to you, Lou...and to Mr. Louweasel, who, oddly, I feel that I almost know, just from your anecdotes. It's awful losing friends. I'm very sorry for your loss. |

| Lou,
I'm terribly sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your friend. Allow yourself time to grieve and lament the untimely death of N. Keep your family and loved ones close to your heart and never forget to tell them just what they mean to you.

| Thanks everyone for your lovely kind messages. I am very touched. Mr Louweasel is being a tower of strength to N's parents and I am trying to do the same for Mr L, so in turn I am very grateful for your all your support.
