Your beverage of choice What is your favorite alcohol to drink to unwind after a hard practice. Or just fill in the blank:
It's ____ time!!! (Miller being the usual answer) -

I don't usually drink after, however I am usually so pumped that I need to expend a little more energy... Makes the hubby happy Too soon the angel of death sweeps o're each one and leaves a cold dew upon the lips and in the heart. Live well, laugh much, love long, and die hard. -
Like Ledgerto, I don't drink after practices, since I don't home until 11:00 PM, however, after a tournament, a big glass of a decent Merlot, after I've downed a liter of water!! It's wine time!!!!

Array Same here: vino after acqua.

Depends on how thirsty I am after the obligatory water. If I need more liquid, a non-dark beer is in order-- brands that frequent my refrigerator are Grolsch, Sprecher Amber, Sprecher Hefe Weiss, (come to think of it, whatever Sprecher has released at the time), Sam Adams Boston Lager, Sam Adams Summer Ale, Pilsner Urquell,... (you get the picture-- I go for the higher end stuff). If it's winter, something dark may do well-- Sprecher Imperial Stout is fantastic, Sheaf Stout is another favorite.
If not needing extra liquid, a likely choice is going to be whisky: Cardhu if I'm looking for something clean & easy, Laphroaig for something on the heavy and peaty side; Aberlour, Talisker, Glenmorangie, and Macallan 18 yr. are all welcome in my glass.
For really hot summer nights, I have a concoction of my own that I call a Gin Afzah:
Gin (Bombay Sapphire or Tanqueray), soda water, and Rooh Afzah (a sweet, rose-water and screwpine flavored drink-base syrup from India & Pakistan), on the rocks.

Latenight's got the right idea!
But seriously. This sounds nasty, but it's not too bad. A lemon flavored vodka (Absolut Citron is my choice) with Mt. Dew and some yellow Gatorade. After the two liters of water, of course. Helps get electrolytes back.

A couple of glasses of Sandeman Port over a good cigar...mmmm -
On the rare occasion I do drink, it's usually Capt. Morgan's Spiced Rum w/ Mt. Dew

Array Well considering I cant drink, beverage of choice is a large Frozen Coke on the way home. If I could drink it would be slushed Amarula. Theses are evil....VERY evil, someone rescue me pls! -
If it's a hard practice, I usually just drink water afterwards.
