Does anybody know anything about fencing at the World University Games? I believe they are in Turkey this year, in August. Who gets to go, who pays, who has been in the past?
I went in 2000 to Beijing for Canada. It was really good. The next largest Multi-Sport games next to the Olympics(I think). For Canada, the qualifications are anyone between the age of 18-28, attending post-secondary institution in the current year, past year, or the next year. Also, you have to be classed somewhere in the top of the rankings. For paying, we had to pay for everything, I don't know if that is the same for every country.
