I'm trying to come up with ideas for a practice event for about nine fencers from different clubs in my area this Sunday. I don't think the traditional pool round to a DE table will give us the variety and amount of fencing we're looking for.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Susan

Just a big round robin, everyone fences everyone. With only around 9 fencers that's easily doable. If you get a few more, it's still doable, if you get any fewer you wouldn't want any other format....

We just had a sabre training event - all round robin. Averybody fenced everybody 5 touches, then everybody fenced everybody 15 touches. No medals awarded, but the coach of the club videotaped all the competitors and we discussed what we needed to work on afterwards. A nice tune-up for Nationals.

    Am still staggering.
