| What's on your iPod? Would it be ethical to post an mp4 here? What's on your playlist?

| On my dad's iPod that I am borrowing there is Treason by Ann Coulter and I am Charlotte Simmons by Tom Wolfe. Both interesting aubiobooks indeed. Tom Wolfe novels are always fascinating, and this being my first foray into the works of Ann Coulter, I like it.
I cannot/will not list the music he has, partly because there are too many, partly because I don't know enough about it to explain it/discuss it. |

| Nope, no Ipod -- overpriced, and way too trendy.
Have a PDA which doubles as many things, including ebook reader and mp3 player, so one less thing to carry. Got around 1 GB or so of music on it, plus around 20-30 books -- so I've got more than enough music to listen to on flights or at home while reading. Music ranges from classical (Dvorak, Grofe, Beethoven), to big band (Goodman, Armstrong, Dorsey, etc.) to classic rock (BS&T, Doors, etc.) to modern (NIN, BNL, Crowe, Crimson 5, etc.) Usually keep it on random shuffle, so I don't get bored with any specific artist or style. |

| Just seems like too much hassle to try to get my music onto an iPod. Not sure I'd use it enough to be worth that initial investment of time in ripping all of my CDs. I listen to music in the car (when I'm not listening to NPR), and very rarely at home when I'm in the mood. That's about it. I have a portable CD player that's probably been broken for the past decade. No real incentive to go get an iPod.

Actually the illegal part would be the unauthorized transfer of the file, but... no you can't do it. Too bad, but no. |

| I have a CD walkman
Unfortunately, it can't fit the 11 Iron Maiden albums, the dvd, the 'Tallica albums, the Van Halen, the Led Zep, the Motley Crue, the GnR and all the rest of it on it at once
Ipods are way too expensive, If I ever get something like it it will be a bigger, cheaper Mp3 player. Like the 40 gb video playing/bluetooth/internet/etc/CHEAPER THAN iPOD one I saw in town :O

| Sorry Inq, but I don't have an iPod either. However I have spent probably several hundred bucks at the iTunes music store over the last couple years, and routinely mix and burn CDs for the car. I don't have an iPod because there is no part in my day where I can wear headphones, except at night here on my computer (the PowerMac G4), and then I don't NEED an iPod.
What do I have in my playlists?
Alan Parsons Project
Anderson Buford Wakeman Howe
Bare Naked Ladies (lots)Bob Seger
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Big Country
The Corrs
CSN
The Clash
Counting Crows
Def Lepard
ELO
Enigma
Fleetwood Mac (lots)
Jackson Browne
Janet Jackson
Joan Jett
Jimmie Vaughn
Kelly Clarkson
Led Zepp
Mannfred Mann's Somewhere in Afrika
Michelle Branch
Nick Lowe
The Outlaws
Pete Townshend
The Pretenders (lots)
Queen
REM
Roomful of Blues
RUSH (lots)
They Might be Giants
Trout Fishing in America
Triumph
U2
Van Halen (lots)
Voice of the Beehive
Weird Al Yankovic
XTC
Yes (lots)
Young MC
and various others.
Which reminds me, I forgot to check last night and see what's new...

| I don't have an Ipod. But I do have a cheaper WMA/MP3 player. Right now I'm playing Queen, Queen, and more Queen. Yes, I'm a Queenfan. And yes, I know Queen+Paul Rodgers is touring. Yes, I have seen Queen+Paul Rodgers in Rotterdam last week. Yes I'm going to the Queen+PaulRodgers stadiumconcert in Arnhem too. I'm downloading Queen bootlegs, also of the current tour right now. I have 40GB of Queenbootlegs already. But my 200GB HDD isn't nearly full yet. Did I mention I'm a Queen fan?
Oh, I do like other bands too.
Old bands:
The Beatles
The Police
Present day bands:
MUSE
Nightwish |

| No iPod. I boought a Rio Nitrus. It only has 1.5 gigs of space, but it was only $150.00 and is MUCH smaller and sleeker than an iPod. I've had it for almost a year now and it's been great...
As for my playlist, most of the space is currently filled by Foreign Language Lessons...
