Newbie ?....Anybody ever hear of Fencing Exchange in Scranton PA?

Instructors are John Proctor and Kim Glemboski...
I fenced years ago when I was in college; played around a bit with arnis and kinda missed the bladework....this is the only fencing school near me (and they seem very professional and friendly).....so, anybody from the Northeast PA area hang out here?
    Thanks!!

I am originally from NE-PA, moved out after university. I have been to fencing exchange.
it really impressed me. the facility is very nice, albeit a bit small (2 strips iirc) but it had good machines and equipment, and John and Kim are both grads of the Coaches College afaik, and they stay very up to date with the rules and such. It is probably the only fencing school in the area, aside from some college clubs (i know PSU Hazleton has a club, but its almost 90minutes away)
I haven't run into John in a few years, but he and his students were making regular appearances at Philly Div. events and even into MD. Unfortunately, the location (Scranton) is a few hours drive in EVERY direction to the nearest large-scale events.
    Carpool, carpool, carpool!
Best of luck, and keep me posted on how things are!

    Thanks for the reply!!
I did fence at Bloomsburg University years ago; there is a small club at a local community college...so I felt like having a good school nearby (they're in Scranton and I live in Wilkes-Barre so it's only about 20 minutes away) was something I shouldn't pass up. The mask and foil are just sitting in a corner with some Arnis stuff and I'm not getting any younger! So I sent Fencing Exchange an e-mail and I guess I'm gonna go for it!

What I've found out about the instructors:
John Proctor is USFA Certified in Level 1 and 2 Foil; Level 1 and 2 Epee; Level 1 Sabre.
Kim Glemboski is USFA Certified in Level 1 Foil, Epee and Sabre.
I would think that's a decent profile, but I'm not sure what the process is for the USFA certifications; either way I feel that I'll be in good hands!
