What kind of computer do you use?

Just because I am curious, I am in no way connected with any commercial interest in this poll.
If you have access to more than one computer that you use on a daily basis, specify your preferred computer type. I think this will be interesting because of the wide range of ages on this forum.

Poll? What poll? There is no poll. Which is all that keeps it from being flawed.

Inq-ie do you lurk in the dark waiting for someone to post the word "poll" so you can jump out before they get a poll posted?? It's really funny to wait and watch where you're going to appear next!

Of course it's flawed, it is a poll that only allows 10 choices. I had to lump Gateway in with Other and build your own. (which seemed to be a fairly logical way to group them to me).

i'll agree that this poll is clearly flawed because i'm only allowed to pick one option.

True. It was nice to upgrade from a single to a full.

My first apartment had a bed that pulled out from the wall.

Hmmm.. depends upon where I am and what I am doing

My computers used within the last 48 hours,

Dell Lattitude Laptop with Wireless (work)
    Dell laptop (home)
    "Whitebox" desktop (home)
Compaq/ HP iPAQ handheld (work and home)

I'm upgrading the home desktop to another "Whitebox" desktop, in the next week of so.
    - Antec 500W case
    - Asus P5GD1 915P motherboard
    - Intel 3.0 GHz P4 processor
    - 1 GB Corsair RAM
    - Seagate 160 GB Hard drive
    - ATI Radeon X600 PRO 256MB Graphics card

I *like* Whitebox machines, where you can specify everything in them. And I'm canabalizing the two previous generation machines stashed under the desk for what I can salvage before they end up as recycling.

Wireless (on my Dell Latitude, it happens) is my salvation. Boring classes? No longer!

Apple G4 Powerbook, 15" screen here. It's the electronic representation of sexiness.

More like the electronic representation of a stereotypical dumb blonde. Nice to look at, but not really useful for anything besides making pretty pictures and movies. And, of course, the light color.
