Premit Noctem (who is a pathologist by day, blood type O) | Oh? I had no idea, cool, thanks!
And you're the first person ever that I have come across who is a pathologist. How fascinating! (But creepy... )

| Pathologists are actually great to have as friends. There patients never complain, they don't have too many bad days at the office, they don't have to stress about malpractice very much and they can still write prescriptions!

| I'm not sure about my blood type, even though I've been told half a dozen times. I"ve needed transfusions a couple times, actually. I think I might be B. It sure as hell fits my personality better. Or AB, which describes me pretty well too. It's all kind of vague, isn't it? With lots of overlapping. But yeah. I should probably find out. I just remember I'm not O. |

| With respect for Gav's thoughtful analysis and commentary, there's reasonable empirical evidence that blood type is a discriminator for a variety of human responses (and actions), including the response to food.
Lactose intolerance, wheaten sensitivities, alcohol tolerance, among others, can be traced to blood type.
FWIW, Type-O's are the hardiest. Warriors, and hunter-gatherers. With enormous stamina. And long hairy arms, yellow teeth, and short legs.
I forget the rest. |

| If there is realy a statistcal link between blood type and other traits, it doesn't necessarily indicate that there is a causal or even direct relationship between them. You mentioned lactose intolerance - well, Arabs usually have a very low incidence of lactose intolerance and a very high incidence of Type O blood. That does not indicate that Type O blood causes lactose intolerance, or vice versa.
Did what you got your info from specify a mechanism whereby blood type might directly influence those things? I ain't sayin it ain't true, I'm just sayin' it sounds weird to me |

| blood type is heriditary...and personality is not. that is why blood type may be the same but personality is so diverse that stereotyping is impossible. that is y scientists say there is no link.

| My blood is O negative, which means that it can be given to anyone regardless of their blood type; consequently I donate blood as it is essential for emergency use and for babies whose blood type can be difficult to determine whenthey are newborn.
My personality is nothing like the one in the article for type O! But coincidentally, my first name does mean "famous warrior"...

Anyway, O is the rarest, but for some reason we've got quite a few Os here.
