edited to note: not saying he follows it to the letter, or even loosely. just saying it shouldn't be such a shock, there's kind of a mindset of someone in med school to try and fix harm, not do it. military or not. |

| The Hippocratic Oath, though, only refers to his patients.
Haven't you ever heard of job security, man? |

I applied to the Academy because I knew it was the best education my family could afford (my family wasn't well off), but the ethical issue of being required by my country to kill another person really got to me. So I decided that if I were to get into West Point, I would pursue medicine. I found it more ethically satifactory to protect the people doing the shooting, than to do the shooting myself.
Now, if I am ever deployed, I will be issued a pistol. I will train and be competent enough to use it, in order to protect myself and my patients. I pray though that I will never be in a situation where I have to chamber a round.

Everything's funky to me.
And just to make sure we're clear, I have absolutely no problem with your stance. |

To make it fair, though, he'd have to have a couple of hits headstart |

| I'm not sure. Everyone I want to name is either foil or sabre. And the rest I'm not sure about. Also, it's not good if you can't get the chance to prove it. I'm sure basically anyone I named would be offended. |

| I would love to fence DFP sometime. Just be interesting. Although I do have about 5 years of advantage. And I would even be willing to go foil to fence Soldier. That would really be interesting. |

| It's a shame you aren't going to the may 14-15 tourny. I think I'm going there as well.

For me, I'd say glowstix. | I'd be quite interested in fencing you, actually, although I think you would beat me by a reasonable margin.
For foil, I'm not too good right now...give me 2 months... |
