| that's funny- I'm not a sabreur, but I'm pretty sure there's some sort of rule about the cross step, and maybe one about the light saber.... something to look up

| Oh, that was good. *wipes tear* Brings back the days of chasing my friends around with a extendable light sabre. That was so much fun, I guess that's why I started fencing.

| Leon Paul masks, epee for foil, looks like a Triplette lame, back zip. Actually, they don't show a zipper anywhere, at least not for the light sabristte.
Other than that, kinda funny.

| When I saw this thread, I figured it was about using an thin blade on a thin aluminum guard with a plastic grip... |

| The fencer on the left had bad form for light sabre. Very sloppy attacks.
And the epee/foilist? -- Wasn't even wired. You can tell once his hand is lopped off.
Sad.
(I'm being sarcastic; actually loved the video.)

| So THAT'S what those ultra-light blades and guards look like for epee. I'll have to pick up a few of those things.

| Yeah, but I bet he couldn't have done that to a katana user. After all, the katana is the ultimate sword.

| Hmm.. ya know, I keep wondering about why the light went on. I mean, I don't even think she was plugged in..
Shouldn't the judge stop the bout and check her weapon for a hidden switch or something?

*tongue planted firmly in cheek* | Oh yeah, it's a Light side force power, don't you know? Sort of an entry level thing for young Jedi to master before being aloud to practice real light sabre bouts. Evil Jedi focus on making sure that your light stays off. It's a very complicated process.
