Array Attention UMass! I'll be heading up there this weekend to visit some friends. Too bad I don't have more time, otherwise I'd bring my stuff and challenge whtouche to a duel or something.
I'll tell ya how I liked the place when i get back... -

Array I'm not officially UMass yet, give it a few monthes though. -

Array smith is close by..............
.... of course, i really don't spend enough time at umass, considering how many friends i have there and how close it is.
and considering i spent almost as much time there when i was in high school and lived two hours away and didn't have as many friends there.....
it's sad. -

PS.
I love how next year, your SN will indicate that you represent Providence Fencing Club (who's the smart one now for not bending to peer pressure years ago?), your icon indicates you represent Prise, and your location will indicate you represent UMass.
you'll be one confused puppy. -

Array Damn. I wish you had more time here so we could fence, and also that I did not have sectionals to be at this weekend and thus will be on long island.
I hope you enjoy your stay here "Their interpretation is, however, refuted most elegantly by your system of radioactive atom + amplifier + charge of gun powder + cat in a box"

Array Yea I got sectionals next weekend, along with 2 finals. I'll also be moved out of here and back home working by that time. It should go something like this: drive down to Rutgers (about an hour) friday morning, take my money & banking final, drive to Maryland (about 3 hours from RU), fence the next day and qualify for IA, drive back to RU that night, study all day Sunday and take my statistics final monday night (8-11) then drive an hour back home and hopefully get enough sleep for work the next day.
It could be worse though... sectionals could be in Pittsburgh again. -

Array Why aren't you doing junior sectionals this weekend instead of going up to MA?

Well, the campus is ugly and the dorms aren't particularly nice, but the surrouding area is, so I recommend you spend as much time away from the campus as possible.
And if you're driving up there, watch out for speeding tickets when driving on campus. Those umass cops get you when you least expect it. -

Array You better go to The Hanger and get an order of Wings....perhaps the most glorious food...ever. -

-B Because on the nationals schedule, U19 MS is july 1, and II is july 5th and IA is the 6th. I'd rather not fence, wait 4 days doing nothing, then fence two more events. Besides, I did 3 events last year and my muscles were DONE by the end of it. Got out of bed the morning of IA and promptly fell over. -

Unless the Hanger Club's had a sex change since I was last up there, I'm pretty sure that Andrew isn't going to be interested in what's "hanging" at the Hanger! Are you trying to get him into an uncomfortable situation there KShan?? -

Got out of bed the morning of IA and promptly fell over. That explains why you're not planning to fence U-19 in Sacramento... Why aren't you fencing Junior Sectionals? Should be a reasonably good tournament regardless of the fact that you can't go to what it would qualify you for. But mostly I was just giving you a hard time.

Don't know about most glorious food ever (or even most glorious wings ever), but they are decent. Decent nachos too.

-B Ha! My orientation was to east o'there. The Hanger was a banana club out in Dorchester. -

Array Dorchester is quite a bit East of Amherst... Roughly 2 hours away, which is a fair distance in a small state....

And yes I know its a couple hours to Boston, but thought KShan was suggesting he go out there too. I think it was the flashing Hanger sign that caught my attention, not the actual discussion. For a while there I thought I was having a flashback! -
