    ANZAC Day

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4479843.stm

Memorial day for the WW1 Gallipoli landings. Very special day for Australians. Attached is a picture of the parade in Sydney.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them.

    Lest we forget

    We will remember them

Over 165 Kiwis and Aussies gathered at an ANZAC commemorative service outside Atlanta on Sunday, April 24, which is now a tradition in Atlanta. It's followed by a family picnic and the annual NZ vs. Australia cricket match. New Zealand won!

Well, actually, most Americans don't know about kiwifruit and spoons. In the U.S., kiwi typically is sliced, and goes in a salad. A spoon in one hand and half a dripping kiwi in the other is Kiwi stuff. Westley has insight!
