used to play golf and cricket but i'm probably better now at fencing than i ever was in those others..
Is it possible for outsiders to ever figure out the rules to cricket? Are they listed somewhere? I watched Lagaan a few years ago (great movie!), and thought, hey, maybe I could do this... but being a diehard baseball fan, I dunno... It seems so odd.
Not a sport, per se, but can be very competitive - I fly radio controlled sailplanes - no motors, no propellers. We hold contests to see who can keep their plane up the longest.
One test is worth a thousand opinions. I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was. - Toby Keith Living life without taking the occasional risk is like lemon-pepper chicken without the lemon-peper. It's just chicken.
Too many to list and not enough time to exercise them all. At the moment it's basically limited to fencing and taebo. Mountain biking will start soon again. Would love to do some more squash and tennis, haven't been doing windsurfing and waterskiing for a while. Now I hardly remember how a horse looks like and with golf I haven't been very succesful either lately.
Blading, once the sun dries up the streets will be picked up again as well.
Oh, I may actually start going rowing again in the early mornings.......
