Heard about Ruby Watson

It's sad to think that we won't see her arriving late for check-in, equipped with her cart, her sabre, and her sense of humor any more. I'll miss her.

It's a sad day with Ruby passing. I am going to miss her. I knew her for over 20 years and respect
her. She was a leader in the fight for women saber before the current group of world champions was born. I remenber her winning the gold medal at the Nike world master game in Portland. She was so Happy that day.

I had not heard...This is really sad. I talk about her all the time to my students and had a great time interviewing her at Nationals last year. She was an amazing woman and very humble. The loss will be felt by many.

I ran into Ruby in Sacramento last summer (I hadn't seen her for about 20 years) and introduced her to my son.(16) Later he commented: "Dad, you know some of the most amazing people."
