| Anybody speak Polish? I was on the bus this morning and it went past one of those little newsagent/mini-mart/off-license type shops of which there are gazillions in London, and there was a sign in the window saying "Polska Zywnosc - zapreszamy!" and now I have an uncontrollable curiosity to know what it means. Anyone?

Anyone? | My knowledge of polish is a little limited buuuuut Polska means Polish (alternatively Poland) and Zapraszamy means welcome.
I'm not sure about Zywnosc and I can't look it up either as I can't write the propers "signs" above the s and c. There may also be a "dot" over the z, I'm not sure.
If noone else on the forum knows (I'm sure someone does) get back to me and I'll find out. My dad is fluent in polish.

| "Polska" was the reason I knew it was Polish - aboutthe only Polish word I do know! It didn't have any diacritical marks on the sign but that doesn't mean a thing - it was probably printed using an English computer.
