I can't say I'm an expert, but I've heard that it's one of the better camps in the north east as well. |

| The fencing camp at Brown is a good one too. There's also one at Brandeis as well, but that one seems to draw a less experienced crowd usually and focuses more on the basics. |

Note there are several camps there which are listed for children in grades 6-12, or in the young adult age range. |

| Nearly EVERY fencing camp in the country focuses on cadet and junior fencers... it's hard to find ones that are open to adults, which is why we post about them.

| are there any fencing camps within the united states that focus mainly on junior and When i looked into it, I saw a flyer about a fencing camp in Arizona. It looked pretty good as they have 3 Master coaches running the camp for all 3 weapons.
Their website is www.azfencingcenter.com. good luck! |

| If you are looing for some competitve foil camps, you might wanna check these out:
-Gia/Slava Kanza Fencing Camp
-OSU's fencing camp
-Rochester Fencing Center's camp
-Fencers Club at Kutshers sports academy, ny.
-Mr Ma's South Jersey Fencing academy camp
Also the PSU camp has gone down in the quality of fencers over the years. I havent attended in years, but from what I hear its now mainly New Jersey high school fencers and the occasional competitve fencer looking to get recruited by penn state. |

| Mr. Ma Besides foil, Mr. Ma's camp is also very good for saber. He has many saber fencers on the Junior and Cadet Points list and other Junior and Cadet fencers also come to the camp. |

Is it worth it? | that can be misleading, one of the coaches that has worked with me is extremly nice off the strip. but, when receiving a lesson with him you better be able to do the moves perfectly, or he will eat you. |

Is it worth it? | The coaches are extremely nice and it's a good place. No they aren't going to eat you, but yes they are going to push you. You will work hard, but never so much that you can't handle it. It's worth it definetely. There are fencers at many skill levels, so there will be people who are better than you, but there will be people less experienced that you. The coaches are good so they can coach you at any skill level. I am only an E, but I know people who are Bs and went there and learned a lot too, so it really is a good experience for anyone. I had an awesome time last year and am going back. I completely recommend it. Totally worth it. I would also like to point out that while I did fence epee there, I was friends with many foilists and they all seemed to be having a similarly positive experience. |
