[CFML] Russ Heggen Memorial Tournament results

Hi everyone,

The 2nd Annual Russ Heggen Memorial Fencing Tournament (Prep-level) was
a big success, with 31 fencers (from eight clubs) competing, making this
our second-largest tournament so far. The individual foil event on
Saturday was our largest event ever, with 25 fencers. The team foil
event had four teams (15 fencers total). Both events utilized the draft
version of the rules of the American Fencing League. Complete results
are now available online at:
http://salem.classicalfencing.us/tournaments/

More than 40 volunteers helped put this tournament together. Thanks,
everyone! What a great time! We also thank our co-host for the
tournament, West Salem High School Fencing Club, for providing the
venue. The space worked really well.

Our next tournament will be a Junior-level foil tournament, which is two
classifications higher than the just-completed Prep tournament. That
will be April 30 & May 1, 2005 at Willamette University in Salem,
Oregon. That will be our last tournament of the 2004-2005 season.
