The move to add color to the fencing outfits is definately a cool thing. I was thinking, if we really go with the lexan masks, wireless fencing, colored outfits and and blinking lights on the masks to show who was hit if you put it all together it might bring up an interesting possibility.

Suppose you slapped two wireless antennas on the new lexan masks to receive and transmit the wireless fencing signals, add some colorful blinking lights on the end of the antennas to flash when the fencers are hit and let people wear yellow and black striped lames/fencing outfits. We could make the fencers look like bumblebees. It would be great for the tv ratings, kids love watching people in bee outfits.
