| My glove is purple on the inside, but that's just how it was made. (The "inside" being the palm.) My socks are a variety of colors. I used to have green socks, but those don't fit anymore. Now I have a pair of white fencing socks and a pair of blak addidas socks. Tip tape is randomly colored.
So the minimal amount of color, overall. |

I have seen all kinds of brightly colored lames used, mostly in foil althought the blue saber lames seem to be increasing in popularity. If you are one of the like 5 people who own the tie dye lames do know that the vast majority of judges/armourers will enforce the one color rule just so we don't have to look at that thing...

| Oooooh, reading some of the above posts, I forgot about the Duellist black piping and sig on my normal jacket and, for when I do occasionally fence foil (sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ), I also have one of their blue lamé jackets. (Although it's for foil, EUCH) I really like it! |

| Aw, don't give me that crap, man. You have another perfectly good lame to use, but you insist on wearing that fruity thing. I suspect you secretly enjoy the attention you get from it.

One time I was in a tournament, and I was about to fence a DE bout against a kid who had one of those. Of course, beforehand, me and my friends were like "wtf is with the pink lame?" Then, as we're testing, he says "I'm sorry about the lame, I know, it's really flaming. They told me it was RED, but they sent it to me and I got this." And I felt sorry for him.
(Not that there's anything wrong with being gay, but that's what he said.) |

| I have an Uhlmann blue lame'. I'm in love with the Uhlmann fencing socks and I want to dye them royal blue. What kind of colorfast dye could I use (would heat-applied dyes hold color better, and will they stain my shoes)?
I'm also looking for a black non-real leather glove, hopefully cheaper than Allstar's black 3-weapon (52 buck-cho's is a bit of coin), but that'll come in time, hopefully.

As for my colors, I don't have any. Between tuition and cycling stuff, I haven't had a lot of money left for equipment, aside from a sglove and sword. (Hoping to change that soon). If we can get any colour (roughly) jacket, can I get flames done?

I got mine done in the UK, though, and I know they do custom designs, but I'm not sure how it works in the US... just ask nicely |

| Socks, horizontal stripes: red & white on my right foot, black & yellow on my left.
No one is going to confuse me or any of my clubmates with any other school.

| I have Blade Fencing's Patriot Knickers; which are white (of course) and have red and blue pipeing along the seam. My glove is cream, my socks have U.S.A. on them, and my shoes have a big blue "C" on them.

| So far, all I have is a bit of red on my shoes, and a blue palm for my glove. I like all white uniforms, but if I could find socks with maybe one or two red stripes to fit my shoes would be fine. |

| I have colored socks. One navy blue, and one light blue. My dry glove has blue fabric in it (typical Uhlmann). Other than that, no. The socks express individuality well enough in my mind. I don't think I would wear anything else colored. At least not a bright color

| Mask -- white with white mesh
Jacket -- white with a nicely textured weave
Knickers -- ditto
Sock -- white
Shoes -- white leather New Balance
Glove -- white with a blue or red back, depending on which one's clean
I look GOOD! Can't fence to save my life, but I sure look good losing!

| - Glove has the 'palm' bit either in red, dark red or dark blue.
- Socks (may) have stripes.
- Shoes have blue mesh bits.
- Mask is dark Blue.
Other than that it's mostly white.
